Brookhouse Resumes Online Classes in New Academic Term

Brookhouse School has announced the resumption of its education program for the 2020-2021 academic year.

The year, which commences on 18th August, 2020, will happen via virtual learning for all its students.

The move to resume studies follows close consultations with the Kenya Association of International Schools (KAIS).

The school seeks to deliver the highest quality in virtual learning, drawing upon the global best practice of the Inspired Schools around the world, so as to ensure the school’s education program continues into the new academic year with minimal interruption.

Furthermore, the school management has issued a statement to iron out a public misunderstanding regarding the new academic year:

‘’I write to clarify some misinformation being circulated regarding the re-enrolment form that was sent out to parents with the update letter of 5th August 2020 and fee information. The re-enrollment form is a standard form used around the world by schools as a means of better administrative planning for timetable delivery and how best to arrange classes for the start of a new academic year. Brookhouse decided to adopt this best practice administrative mechanism at the beginning of 2020, long before the pandemic issue arose. There is no payment related to the re-enrolment form.’’

The School is also pleased to announce the introduction of a new discounted fee structure for Term 1 of the academic year 2020/2021, that will offer a flexible payment plan to parents

Since the onset of the COVID 19 Pandemic, the school’s virtual delivery has been the enabler of academic progression. Students have been able to finish the 2019/20 academic year, complete their assessments towards final IGCSE and A-Level grades and take the next step in their academic journey, starting their next grade in August 2020.

The school continues to invest in academic resources and works diligently to retain the highest calibre of teaching staff ensuring first-class educational delivery.
